Los Angeles Rams re-sign veteran depth piece at the linebacker position

Troy Reeder, a 29-year-old linebacker, is going to return to the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced Thursday.

Reeder has been in the NFL for five seasons, and he has spent four of those five seasons with the Rams. 

In 2023, he garnered 23 tackles in 17 games. He started six games. 

Reeder has appeared in 83 regular season games. He has 241 career tackles, 11 of which were for a loss. He also has five sacks, two forced fumbles and two interceptions. 

He first broke into the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019. 

Reeder played his college ball at Deleware. 

During his career, Reeder has played in seven postseason games. He was also a member of the Rams when the team won the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals.
