There’s still over 11 months remaining until the 2025 recruiting cycle comes to a close, but that hasn’t stopped the LSU coaching staff from beginning to narrow their list of top targets. Earlier today, elite four-star class of 2025 offensive lineman Micah DeBose followed suit and narrowed his list to 10 schools, including the Tigers along the way.

Class of 2025 offensive lineman narrows list of schools to ten

When it comes to identifying and recruiting top offensive line talent, few in the country compare to that of LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis. Over the last three cycles combined, the talented assistant has played a major role in signing 14 offensive line recruits, three of which are expected to start for the Tigers in 2024.

Notably, he doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. Already in efforts to recruit the upcoming cycle, he’s landed commitments from two big-time recruits, both of which are rated as a four-star or better (Devin Harper and Brett Bordelon).

Furthermore, the purple and gold remain in contention for several of the best recruits in the country, including four-star class of 2025 offensive lineman Micah DeBose, who most recently put LSU in his list of top-10 schools.

DeBose, a considerable favorite to land with the Tigers – according to both On3 and 247Sports – included some of the best programs nationally in his top-10. Interestingly enough, a majority happen to be SEC programs, as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Tennessee were all included along with the purple and gold.

Even though the big-time Mobile, AL, recruit has only just released his list of top schools, LSU has looked like the team to beat for months now. Ranking as the No. 88 player in the country, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has given the purple and gold a 96.8 percent chance at landing his commitment.

While we don’t yet have a commitment date for the big-time four-star recruit, expect offensive line coach Brad Davis continue to make a consistent push up until the very end.
