Mac Jones benched once again during Patriots' game against Saints

It's clear there is a real problem for the New England Patriots. 

Once again, Mac Jones got off to a poor start and had a bad performance once again. And I think everyone can guess what Bill Belichick's reaction was. 

Jones was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Saints, with Bailey Zappe taking over in the pocket. 

With the Patriots down 24-0, Jones finished going 12-for-22 for 110 yards and two interceptions. 

This happened last week in the Patriots loss to the Cowboys, but Belichick remained set on keeping Jones at quarterback. Let's see if that is the case after this one. 

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that while Zappe did see an increase in practice snaps this week, "no change id imminent" in terms of a change to the starting quarterback. 

Zappe has served as Jones' backup for two seasons now and has proven that he can handle himself in games. After Jones was injured last season he came in and helped lead the team to two victories before the starting quarterback was ready to return.

There is still plenty of time remaining so let's see if Zappe can get the Patriots back in it.
