I don't know how everyone else likes to play sports games, but I personally like to take bad teams and develop them into better teams. Like on NBA 2K, I'll often strip a team down to the bare bones and completely rebuild it. I guess you can call me a development wizard.
You can also call Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell, that too. The people over at Madden 26 are in their new franchise mode.
This is just the perfect label for Campbell because it's exactly what he's done with the Lions, and they've shown that time and again.
Guys like Derrick Barnes, Levi Onwuzurike, Alex Anzalone, Kerby Joseph, and more have come into Detroit in need of development, and they've all developed into solid or elite players.
That's been the thing that the Lions have done so well during this regime. They have developed from being a really bad team to a team that has drafted well and then developed that talent over time until they've become a really good team.
Here's the full trailer for the new Madden 26 franchise mode.
