The Los Angeles Rams are all in to win another Super Bowl going into the 2025 NFL season.
They brought back quarterback Matthew Stafford for a fifth season after they granted his wish for a new contract. They also brought in wide receiver Davante Adams to replace Cooper Kupp and create another strong one-two punch with him and Puka Nacua.
Kyren Williams is still their starting running back, and Tyler Higbee is another reliable option at tight end. They have the playmakers, but have to keep Stafford upright and healthy.
The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue sees both offensive tackle positions as concerns since starting right tackle Rob Havenstein missed OTAs with shoulder procedures and starting left tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with blood clots.
"The Rams are preparing to spend the 2025 season as a real contender, but concerns linger about their offensive line. Starting right tackle Rob Havenstein missed OTAs while recovering from clean-out procedures on both shoulders, while starting left tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with blood clot issues similar to that which sidelined him in 2022, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport," Rodrigue writes, via The Athletic.
D.J. Humphries is the second-string left tackle and can step in when needed for Jackson, while Warren McClendon Jr. backs up Havenstein. Havenstein should be fine for training camp when it starts for a month, but the Rams aren't sure if Jackson will be ready.
The Rams will open the 2025 season against the Houston Texans at 4:25 p.m. ET on September 7.
