Infamous D.C. traffic reportedly got in the way of the Washington Commanders' press conference on Tuesday.

This morning NBC Sports reporter JP Finlay revealed the reason why the media session for head coach Dan Quinn and GM Adam Peters didn't start on time was due to a major hangup on the roads in the nation's capital.

"Adam Peters & Dan Quinn press conference pushed back to 10:45 because of major traffic in DC," Finlay reported.

This one hit too close to home for fans in the area.

"Started sweating just thinking about DC traffic," The Athletic's Dianna Russini replied. "I've lived in seven different cities, easily top three worst."

"This is the most DC thing I've ever heard," a user said.

"Thank you for the up to the minute reporting," another commented.

"there is always major traffic in DC," a fan shared.

"Nice of them to make time for Russell," Matthew Paras joked.

"Is the major traffic Terry's new deal? " another person cried.

"I thought you were gonna say it's pushed back because they're finalizing a deal with Terry right now lol," another user laughed.

"Love my hometown but it is why I don't live there anymore," another fan admitted.

Traffic in the DMV area is no joke. But thankfully the conference was still able to take place where Peters gave an update on the Terry McLaurin situation:

"Yeah, I mean, first, I think without a doubt, I think everybody in this building values Terry very much," Peters explained. "In terms of where we're at, we've had conversations recently and we'll look to have more conversations. We're going to do everything we can in order to get a deal done."
