The New York Giants got a positive update regarding one of their best young players on Monday.
Malik Nabers will head to the Pro Bowl games next weekend, according to sources. He is replacing Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown as he deals with an injury.

Nabers was a first alternate in the NFC.
The other Giants starter to be involved in the Pro Bowl games will be Dexter Lawrence II. Those two were the most impressive pieces for New York this season.
Nabers, originally named a second alternate, is the Giants' first Pro Bowl wide receiver since Odell Beckham, Jr. was selected to his third in a row in 2016. He is the first Giants rookie Pro Bowler since Beckham in 2014. Both Nabers and Beckham were Giants first-round draft choices from LSU.
Nabers had at least five receptions in 14 of the 15 games in which he played, the most games with five or more catches by a rookie in NFL history, surpassing the former standard of 12, set by New England's Terry Glenn in 1996 and tied by Arizona's Anquan Boldin in 2003.
Nabers set a Giants franchise record with 109 receptions He totaled 1,204 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this year in his first pro season.
