Man, the New York Giants just can’t catch a break. In Week 4 of the 2025 NFL Season, they looked like a competent offense for once. Well, now that looks like a mirage. Their star wide receiver Malik Nabers went down with a severe knee injury, and it did not look good watching Live.

What Happened To Malik Nabers

During the 2nd quarter of the game, Jaxson Dart was throwing a ball deep to Nabers. When Nabers was trying to jump and reach for the football, he landed very awkwardly and immediately grabbed his knee. He was obviously in so much pain, and so was the Giants fanbase all around the NFL world. Nabers was already entering the game banged up with a shoulder injury, and now with a knee injury, it’s not a good sight.

A Cart Was Used

To explain how bad the injury is during & returning from the commercial break, the cart came out and had to take Nabors out. You could hear the disappointment through the broadcast from MetLife Stadium, and it absolutely sucks. ESPN has ruled him as questionable to return, but let’s be real, there is more of a chance Eli Manning comes out of retirement to play than that happens.

Giants Receiver Room Is Weak, This is A Big Loss

Nabors was finally looking good out there with 2 receptions for 20 yards, leading the Giants’ receiver room at the time. In Jaxson Dart’s debut, he will have to finish the game without him. To be honest, the Giants don’t have a great replacement for him, as their receiver room is very weak. Players like Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Theo Johnson, Daniel Bellinger, etc. Need to step up with this Nabers injury.

Final Thoughts

From the looks of it, it’s not good. When there is a cart that gets called for a player who gets injured, it’s never a good thing. The Giants currently lead the Chargers 13-10 and now have to finish strong without one of their most talented players on that offense. Let’s see how the Giants respond.
