'Mama Kelce' Super Bowl coin toss petition nears 25,000 signatures

Everybody knows by now that Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce will become the first brothers to play against each other in the Super Bowl, when they face off on Feb. 12.

Their mother, Donna Kelce, could be joining them on the field before kickoff for Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Although the pair of All-Pros said this week on their "New Heights" podcast that they were getting sick of the "Kelce Bowl" storyline, fans clearly are not. A change.org petition started by Chiefs fan Amber Smith is asking the NFL to allow "Mama Kelce" to do the honorary coin toss prior to the contest.

"What a great way to show the Super Proud mama some Amazing Appreciation and Love while giving her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!!" the petition reads.

As of late Thursday afternoon, the petition was approaching 25,000 signatures.

Super Bowl LVII kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 12.
