Marcus Mariota off to incredible start versus 49ers

If fans were waiting for the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills game to see some perfect QB play, they'll be surprised to know there's a performance in the 1 p.m. window will be tough for either Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen to beat.

Atlanta Falcons QB Marcus Mariota put on an absolute clinic in the first half against the San Francisco 49ers. He finished the game 13-14 for 129 yards and two touchdowns. He added 50 yards and another touchdown on the ground.

Per Pro Football Focus, Mariota entered Week 6 as the 28th-graded passer out of 35 eligible quarterbacks. His performance Sunday came against their top-rated defense.

The Falcons won 28-14. It's the most points the Falcons scored all season while also standing as the most points allowed by the 49ers.
