When wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in March , he moved from one MVP quarterback to another. As he gets acclimated to his new surroundings and develops chemistry with his new signal-caller in Patrick Mahomes, "MVS" is also reflecting on the similarities between Mahomes and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Apparently, the 27-year-old wideout doesn't see many differences between the two.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling on playing with Aaron Rodgers from Patrick Mahomes: “There’s not much difference, one’s just older than the other.” #Chiefs

Valdes-Scantling, of course, wasn't the only big-name wide receiver to depart Rodgers and company, as All-Pro Davante Adams was traded from Green Bay to the Las Vegas Raiders. Valdes-Scantling not only spent his entire four-year career with Rodgers up until his recent move, but shared the field with Adams since 2018 as well.
MVS says he still talks to (Raiders WR and former Packers WR) Davante Adams almost everyday and “now I get to see him twice a year”

With Tyreek Hill out of the picture in Kansas City, Mahomes could be relying heavily on "MVS" during the 2022 campaign. Valdes-Scantling will be looking to bounce back from an injury-ravaged 2021 season in which he posted career lows in games played (11), targets (55), receptions (26) and receiving yards (430).
