Hopefully you read my previous article on TWSN talking about stashing MarShawn Lloyd. After a big week against the Chicago Bears, Lloyd is now rostered in 70.7% of fantasy football leagues on ESPN.

Last week, Lloyd had his best fantasy football game of the season with 16.7 points. While it certainly showed that Lloyd is trending up, a lot of that was reliant on two touchdowns, and with his 10 carries, he only had 3.1 YPC.

I’m not sold on Lloyd yet, but we’ll look at his Week 6 matchup for fantasy football. For reference, the Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys.

MarShawn Lloyd Week 6 Fantasy Football Matchup Analysis

Looking at Kalshi, the Green Bay Packers have a 52% chance to win this game, but this isn’t the biggest deal to me. We’ve seen Lloyd have five catches in week four, but also, a lead should equal more rushing opportunities.

The Cowboys have been a very good matchup for running backs in fantasy football this year, allowing the 8th most PPG at 23.6. On the other hand, the PFF matchup tool ranks this as a “Poor” rushing matchup score for Lloyd, despite Dallas ranking 29th in the NFL for their defense.

All things considered, I’m still not comfortable starting MarShawn Lloyd in fantasy football yet, but he’s definitely worth having on your team right now.
