On Sunday against the Chicago Bears in Week 4, Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders lost at home, in what was a game they should have won. Crosby had an amazing game, doing what he's never done. There is a reason Crosby got the contract he got.

The Raiders PR team broke down perfectly everything that transpired from Crosby on Sunday.

"DE Maxx Crosby deflects the pass from CH QB Caleb Williams and intercepts it, returning it 19 yards to the LV 34 yard line. Crosby notches his first career INT. DE Maxx Crosby has posted his second career game with three passes defensed. He is the only defensive lineman in the NFL in 2025 with 3+ PDs in a single game. Crosby is one of only nine defensive linemen in the NFL since 2000 to record multiple games with 3+ PDs."

Crosby is doing everything he can to will and propel his team to wins, and yet, they keep getting embarrassed. This time, though, it was more so on the offense than the defense. Regardless, Crosby is playing out of his mind.

The Raiders' offense did not help Crosby and the defense

The defense played fairly well, all things considered. Obviously, the Bears don't have the best record, and didn't before the game, but they have a great roster on paper, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They have one of the best QB prospects in recent years in Caleb Williams, some amazing receivers around him, a great running back, and while the offensive line isn't great, it is improved.

So, for them to put up 25 on the Raiders defense, one that is set to pretty much be a league-average unit, is not a bad day at the office. Crosby ended with three tackles for loss, three pass deflections, five tackles, one quarterback hit, and, of course, the interception, his first of his career.

Despite not having a sack, this was truly a Crosby takeover game, where the Bears' offense threw so many things at him to try and stop him. Williams, after the game, said that Crosby is easily the best player he has ever played against. However, none of that matters because the Raiders lost.

The offense turned the ball over far too many times to have really even been in that game. Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had three interceptions. When Crosby has games like this, they really cannot be wasted.
