Maxx Crosby Sends Message to Raiders After Ravens Trade

Maxx Crosby had been with the Las Vegas Raiders franchise for the entirety of his seven-year NFL career. He was drafted by the team in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft with pick No. 106 and has since blossomed into one of the best players in the NFL. A two-time All-Pro selection and five-time Pro Bowl selection, Crosby has racked up 69.5 sacks and 439 total tackles.

While he is easily one of the best players in the league, he has played under five head coaches and been the face of a franchise that is stuck in a constant rebuild. The Raiders recorded just one season above .500 during his tenure, making the playoffs just once.

Crosby, 28, had consistently pledged to be a Raider for life, but he decided it was time to move on and requested a trade this offseason. The Raiders shipped him to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks. Although he will have a chance to contend, Crosby released a social media video on Saturday admitting how difficult of a time this is.

In a nearly 13-minute-long video, Crosby discussed how much the Raiders organization and fans meant to him, while also expressing he'd love to finish his career with the team somewhere down the line.

"Can't believe that this is a real thing," Crosby said. "It's been seven years being with the nation. Raider Nation has given me everything. My family, I've had the chance to get married. Had the most beautiful daughter in the world, grow as a man, as a player, as a leader, as a human being. One thing I can say above all else is I gave you everything I got.

"I have no regrets about that," Crosby continued. "I put everything into trying to win as a Raider...It's tough, man. It's been a damn journey."

Aside from the Ravens, both the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears were pursuing Crosby heavily.

Although it will take some getting used to when it comes to seeing Crosby in a different uniform, most fans will be happy to see him finally be on a contender.
