Maxx Crosby’s Trade Price Leaks

Las Vegas Raiders edge defender Maxx Crosby is the most popular trade target in the league, and the five-time Pro Bowler is reportedly generating interest across the league. Crosby was one of the few bright spots on the 2025 Las Vegas Raiders, finishing the season with 10 sacks despite having no other threats along the defensive line. Now staring down another rebuild with a new coach and quarterback, Crosby wants to join a team that can compete right away.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of the New York Post, several teams are more than willing to pay a high price for the star pass rusher as he enters his age-29 season. Per the article, the Raiders could likely receive two first-round picks if they trade Maxx Crosby.

REPORT: Raiders Could Get Two First-Round Picks In Maxx Crosby Trade

This report isn’t too surprising, as two first-round picks is the established going rate for star players at premium positions. In recent history, players like Khalil Mack, Micah Parson, and Jalen Ramsey have all fetched similar returns on the open market. However, it is worth noting that Crosby is entering his age-29 season and, while he is a great player, probably doesn’t have too many more seasons of elite play left in his tank.

The Raiders do not want to trade Maxx Crosby, but they might not have a choice. The former fourth-round pick clearly doesn’t want to stick around, and a return like this might be too good to ignore. Vegas has a new head coach and (presumably) a new quarterback in Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza. Given the projected timeline of their latest rebuild, it makes all the sense in the world to trade Crosby for a massive return and build a young core that can compete for years to come.
