It’s odd to be desperate for a win in October, but both the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins are looking for any sign of momentum. Not only do they have one win on the season, but Tyreek Hill’s injury sets a very low cap on what that Miami offense can do. On the other side, Dillion Gabriel is trying to prove himself as a starting quarterback after two straight losses. Despite the records of these teams, there are still some players who are poised to deliver strong performances.

Achane at the moment is the one bright part of a depressing Miami offense. He had 128 yards on the ground against the Chargers last week as well as two touchdowns. With the absence of Tyreek Hill, Achane is clearly their best option on offense. Therefore, he should be getting north of 15 carries as well as some work in the passing game. The lowest amount of yards Achane has gotten on the season when touching the ball at least 15 times has actually been 99. If he gets that amount of work, he should have around the same number of yards.

Last week was a blip in a great season for Quinshon Judkins. Forgetting about this underrated running back is a huge mistake, though. The Steelers’ defense was able to shut him down, but the Dolphins’ defense tends to give up many more points than the Steelers do. Cleveland might be able to win this game simply by feeding Judkins and playing defense. With a game plan like this, Judkins would get around 20 carries, lots of yards, and probably a touchdown.

Waller may not have the same yardage as the top tight ends in the league, but he has reached the end zone in every game he has played. This clearly shows that, when Miami gets in the red zone, Waller is one of Tua’s favorite targets. He should be able to keep his streak of a touchdown per game against Cleveland, especially since Tua has few other options outside of handing the ball to Achane.

Tua Tagovailoa has played five games this season and has five interceptions to show for it. Although he may be blaming the team’s problems on other issues, the fact remains that he needs to improve at taking care of the football. Tua faces one of the best defenses in the league in Cleveland, and if he throws another interception, it will cut into any points Tua gets. With his best wide receiver injured, there is almost no reason to start Tua for the rest of the season unless he can put together a really strong game.

Njoku is still a strong tight end, but he may not flourish with Dillon Gabriel under center. He was only targeted six times in the last game against Pittsburgh. Harold Fannin Jr., on the other hand, had 10 targets in the same game. It may be that Fannin Jr. is Gabriel’s preferred option, and he might continue to feed him the ball. Even if Fannin Jr. doesn’t get a huge amount of targets, it’s clear that they are basically splitting time. Therefore, it makes more sense to pick up a tight end who’s more guaranteed to be the number one guy.

Now that he is third on the depth chart, one might assume Westbrook-Ikhine would be getting more work. That hasn’t been the case so far; he’s only had one target in the past two games. Considering that the Browns play defense well, Tua will likely be favoring his leading targets more and spreading out the ball less. Therefore, Westbrook-Ikhine simply won’t see the ball enough to be relevant for DFS.
