Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has taken quite an interest in Formula One's meteoric rise in the world of sports.

The Dolphins have been allowing Formula One to use their venue, Hard Rock Stadium, for the Miami Grand Prix since the 2022 season. There are always countless celebrities in attendance for this race at the Miami International Autodrome.

During an interview with Andrew Sorkin of CNBC, Ross was asked if he's made more money on F1 than the Dolphins. His response was as honest as it gets.

"F1 has been great," Ross replied. "We get more attendance for F1 races for three days than the entire (Dolphins) season tickets that we sold."

It's not a surprise the Dolphins are losing this battle.

Barring a miraculous 2026 draft, the Dolphins will most likely be one of the worst teams in the NFL next season. They've got over $175 million in dead money, an unproven coaching staff, and a roster that seriously lacks talent.

The Dolphins continued their rebuild on Tuesday by trading star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and their fourth-round pick (111th overall) to the Denver Broncos for their first-round pick (30th), third-round pick (94th) and fourth-round pick (130th).

Of course, there's a chance Malik Willis becomes a game changer at quarterback and makes the Dolphins must-see TV. However, the odds of that happening look pretty slim right now.
