The Miami Dolphins got some good news on Tuesday regarding their selections in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins were awarded 4 compensatory picks by the NFL - one at the end of round 3, one at the end of round 4, and two at the end of round 7. As such, the full draft order has been finalized and sent out by the league.

The Dolphins now hold a total of 11 picks, and here they are by round and overall pick:
- Rd 1, pick 13
- Rd 2, pick 48
- Rd 3, pick 98 (compensatory)
- Rd 4, pick 116
- Rd 4, pick 135 (compensatory)
- Rd 5, pick 150
- Rd 5, pick 155
- Rd 7, pick 224
- Rd 7, pick 231
- Rd 7, pick 253 (compensatory)
- Rd 7, pick 256 (compensatory)
The Dolphins managed to turn their offseason free agent losses into additional ammunition with this draft. The Dolphins' third round compensatory pick came by way of Robert Hunt signing and playing almost all of the season's snaps for the Carolina Panthers. Christian Wilkins' injury cost him the playing time needed for a third, so the Dolphins were awarded a fourth rounder.
Now, Miami has a significant amount of ammunition heading into the draft next month. Whether they want to use it as a package for a move won't be known until the draft is underway in all likelihood, but 11 is a decent number of picks, and now they have two more in the middle rounds that should help them, at minimum, find some players who could be contributors in a crucial 2025 season.
The NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday, April 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
