Miami’s first win reshuffles the player power rankings because several young contributors carried larger responsibilities against the Jets. These rankings weigh season importance, recent performance, role and the player’s influence on the next game.
Gordon has become Miami’s offensive foundation in De’Von Achane’s absence. He carried 25 times for 103 yards and a touchdown Sunday, his second 100-yard performance in three starts. His value is not limited to production: the threat of Gordon’s inside run gives Willis manageable downs and allows the offense to control possession.
Willis rises after his cleanest performance of the season. He completed two-thirds of his throws, averaged 9.9 yards per attempt and accounted for three touchdowns without a turnover. His legs produced five rushing first downs, and his fourth-and-1 conversion ended the game. Consistency is the remaining test.
Dulcich caught all five targets for 86 yards and was Miami’s primary first-half matchup advantage. He played 42 offensive snaps, the most among Dolphins tight ends. His ability to attack the middle provides the easiest complement to Gordon’s rushing threat.
Sieler remains the front’s workload leader. He played 49 defensive snaps against New York and recorded five tackles, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit. Miami’s run defense was uneven, but Sieler’s combination of volume and disruption keeps him high.
Brooks played every defensive snap and led Miami with nine tackles, including two tackles for loss. His range and communication remain essential, particularly while the defense works through injuries and extensive rookie usage.
Douglas returned from a three-game absence, started and played 44 offensive snaps. Two catches produced 70 yards and two touchdowns. His 63-yard fourth-quarter score demonstrated the explosive dimension Miami lacked while he was out.
Taaffe also played every defensive snap. His red-zone interception stopped a Jets drive and protected Miami’s first-half advantage. The secondary still surrendered explosives, but Taaffe supplied its most consequential play.
Brewer anchors the group that powered 41 rushing attempts, three fourth-down conversions and long touchdown drives. His value is organizational as much as statistical: Miami’s offense looked composed at the line.
Robinson recorded a sack, two quarterback hits and a tackle for loss. Miami needs more consistent pressure, but his fourth-quarter disruption helped hold New York to a field goal near the goal line.
Washington caught all three targets, added an 8-yard run and returned a punt 13 yards. His versatility keeps him involved even as Douglas’ return redistributes receiver snaps.
