Injuries haven't been kind to the Miami Dolphins this season. They started out 2-5 before rebounding and getting to a record of 7-8 this season. The Dolphins are still alive for a playoff spot but will need a lot of help to get there.
Unfortunately, those playoff chances have taken a major blow. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been downgraded to doubtful with a hip injury on Saturday. In turn, the Dolphins have elevated quarterback Skylar Thompson from the practice squad and Tyler Huntley will start in Tagovailoa's place if he can't play

It's a tough blow for the Dolphins, who desperately need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. It's especially tough because of how poor the Dolphins looked without Tagovailoa in the lineup.
Tagovailoa got injured against the Buffalo Bills in week two and missed the next five games. In those games, the Dolphins went 1-4 and were outscored 109-67. The offense looked anemic without their star quarterback and the defense couldn't make up the difference.
The Dolphins are set to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, a game that could eliminate them from the playoffs.
