The Miami Dolphins' regular season schedule was released a little over a week, ago, confirming who, when, and where the Dolphins will be facing their 2025 slate of opponents. The only thing remaining was who, when, and where Miami would face their three preseason opponents.
That last bit of information was revealed on Thursday morning, and it's an interesting trio for the Dolphins. Miami will face the Chicago Bears on Sunday, August 10 in the preseason opener in Chicago. They will next face the defending NFC one seed Detroit Lions on the road on Saturday, August 16. They finish at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, August 23.

The Dolphins were confirmed to have joint practices with the Jaguars in the preseason finale, and as it turns out, they'll also have them with the Bears in the opener.
That means the Dolphins will get a very up close and personal look with two of the most talked about new faces in the NFL coaching world in the Bears' Ben Johnson and the Jaguars' Liam Coen. Johnson was the unicorn of all head coaching candidates for two hiring cycles before finally accepting Chicago's head coaching job back in January.
Coen - who the Bucs offered to make the highest paid offensive coordinator in the league - left Tampa Bay at the altar, secretly meeting with and firming up details to become the Jags' newest head coach. And now, Coen has two-way star rookie Travis Hunter to utilize as he sees fit. Miami's defense will get one of the first looks at the third pick of the draft, which the Jags gave up a lot to trade up and make.
Preseason storylines are rarely juicy, but the Dolphins will have a few notable ones when they start their game preparations for what they hope will be a memorable 2025 season.
