Every football fan knows about the Micah Parsons saga at this point. The defensive end was traded to the Green Bay Packers after a long, public dispute with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Everyone knows how talented Parsons is, but it’s hard to believe anyone could have foreseen the immense impact he’d make on the Packers’ defensive line, especially given his limited availability thus far.
Despite the four-time Pro Bowler’s snaps being limited, Green Bay has dominated the line of scrimmage in both of their games this year.
But Parsons’ excellence was more pronounced Thursday night against the Washington Commanders, recording a half sack, a tackle for loss and eight quarterback pressures.
Following the extraordinary performance, the All-Pro edge rusher received some steep praise for his game-wrecking ability and the aura surrounding his name currently.
Get Up co-host Peter Schrager likened Parsons to Saquon Barkley in the sense that both players’ previous teams spoke frequently about how replaceable they were, and now are looking to have historic season with tons of media attention.

Mike Tannenbaum would then go on to say Parsons is a “future Hall-of-Famer,” with 52.5 sacks in his first four years in the league and being selected to three All-Pro teams.
Those numbers are impressive for anyone, but even more so when you realize that Parsons was splitting his time between the edge and linebacker in his first couple years in the league.
Now that he’s a full-time pass rusher, his dominance has only increased. His presence on the field is so prominent that he has drawn comparisons to some of the most legendary pass rushers of all time, namely Reggie White.
He really is just Reggie White dude

That may be a bit of a stretch since White is second in all-time sacks, with 198, but Parsons has a chance to come dangerously close if he plays long enough.
The Packers star has led his team to a 2-0 record in a season where many people have them as the favorite to win the NFC.
There is still a ton of football left to be played, but Parsons’ impact on the Packers so far has been undeniable.
