Micah Parsons knows the Green Bay Packers will battle his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, on Sunday Night Football in Week 4, but he’s not bothering to look ahead.

Although that game is undoubtedly marked on Parsons’ calendar, he’s got tunnel vision at the moment. His sole focus is picking up a win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon.

More specifically, Parsons is focused on veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, whom he’s never sacked in his five-year NFL career.

“Really just getting after Flacco,” Parsons said when asked about his focus. “I kind of like the name ‘The Hunter.’ I haven’t had Flacco yet. I need him. I want him. It’s time to go get him.”

Parsons has sacked 25 different quarterbacks, but never Flacco, who played the Cowboys three times in his career. However, all three came before Parsons was selected 12th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Since joining the Packers, Parsons has been a menace, making a consistent impact against both the pass and the run. He’s elevated their already dangerous pass rush, and Flacco may prove to be a soft target. At 40 years old, he’s no longer a mobile quarterback and has struggled under pressure this season.

Parsons has recorded 1.5 of Green Bay’s 8.0 sacks this season, and he’s determined to add to that total on Sunday against the Browns, all at the expense of Flacco.
