The Dallas Cowboys are holding their 2025 training camp in Oxnard, California ahead of the debut of new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

The Cowboys' recent seasons have not gone as planned, leading the team to part ways with former coach Mike McCarthy in hopes of a championship resurgence.

On Tuesday one of the key pieces of a potential title run, superstar linebacker Micah Parsons, addressed recent conversation regarding the potential of a holdout, "hold-in," or other deliberate decision to not play with the team in 2025.

"Micah Parsons said he's dealing with back tightness but has no plans on holding in - ready to participate 'when my body lets me,'" reporter Patrik Walker wrote on X.

Walker said Parsons also has no plans on holding out.

"Nothing can keep me from football," Parsons said. "And if you think it can, you've never been around me."

Parsons is in the final year of a five-year deal and recently took the practice field for a team walkthrough before Dallas' first practice.

The former Penn State University star had 30 solo tackles and 12 sacks last season and sat out four games due to injury.

He has compiled double digit sacks in all four seasons with the Cowboys, totaling 52.5 career sacks heading into his fifth season in the National Football League.
