For four years, Micah Parsons was the Dallas Cowboys' best player. He became a fan favorite almost right away, and while his outspoken nature and character got him into trouble at times, he earned his stripes with his play.
That's why, even though he's now playing for the Green Bay Packers, he still expects a warm welcome in his return to AT&T Stadium.
When asked about the game, Parsons revealed that he thinks he'll get some love from his former fans.
"I think Dallas loves me. I think they’re gonna give me a good round of applause. There’s no hard feelings there, at least for me. I think it’s gonna be a great atmosphere," Parsons said, per Dave Schroeder.

How do you expect the Cowboys fans to react to Micah Parsons when the Packers visit Dallas on SNF? pic.twitter.com/l0LpFHH7fa
Granted, Parsons didn't leave the team on good terms, but that doesn't mean he should feel ill towards the fan base, and vice versa.
His feud was always with Jerry Jones, not with the fan base, and he always delivered when he was on the field.
The Cowboys have failed to put any sort of pressure on the quarterback since Parsons left, which is far from a surprise. He had double digits in sacks every year, and he was the most double-teamed player in all of football.
Now, they've signed 32-year-old Jadeveon Clowney to rotate with Sam Williams and Dante Fowler Jr., but it's hard to believe he can have the same impact at this point in his career.
Parsons will be extremely motivated to put on a show on Sunday and remind the Cowboys what they could've had. But as long as he keeps it all about football, there's no reason the fans shouldn't give him a warm welcome and farewell, at least this time.
