In the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys stumbled to a 7-10 record, their first losing campaign since 2020.

Those struggles culminated in head coach Mike McCarthy’s departure, after which Cowboys owner Jerry Jones tapped offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as his successor.

At the center of Dallas’s offense is quarterback Dak Prescott, whose year was cut short by a season-ending hamstring injury.

As Prescott gears up for his 10th season, he and his future wife, Sarah Jane Ramos, celebrated a major personal milestone on Saturday.

Prescott took to Instagram to announce the birth of their second child, a daughter named Aurora Rayne Prescott, born on May 22, 2025, posting a photo of Ramos cradling Aurora in her hospital bed alongside the caption, "Thank You God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne! May 22, 2025. God is Great. I love you @sarahjane and the Family we’ve created ♥️"

One of the first voices to congratulate Prescott was none other than Micah Parsons, who wrote, "Congrats brother!"

Drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Prescott seized the starting job as a rookie and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year after leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record in 2016.

Over his NFL career, Prescott has tallied 31,437 passing yards, 213 touchdowns, and a career passer rating of 98.1, along with three Pro Bowl selections (2016, 2018, 2023).

Now 31, Prescott signed a four-year contract extension worth up to $240 million in 2024, including $231 million guaranteed.

Defensively, Parsons is Dallas’s most dominant player.

Since being selected 12th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Parsons has accrued 52.5 career sacks, earning First-Team All-Pro honors in 2021 and 2022 and Second-Team All-Pro in 2023, while making four consecutive Pro Bowls through the 2024 season.

The Cowboys have already picked up the fifth-year option on Parsons to play through 2025, but his future beyond that remains the subject of ongoing negotiations and NFL trade rumors.
