Green Bay Packers superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons got reflective on Christmas Day.

On Thursday, Parsons shared his thoughts on his recovery journey amid a devastating knee injury via a sincere social media post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Two weeks in, I’ve accepted the pain and the reality of this journey. Some days are heavy, some days aren’t but every day brings its own fight. My courage, my strength, and my mind have all been tested. Still, I won’t stop. I won’t quit until I’m back. I’m grateful God chose me. Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas. #Thankful”

Parsons staying positive after ACL injury cuts first Packers season short

There is a long way to go for Parsons before he can be ready to take the field again. It hasn’t been a month since he sustained a torn ACL injury during a Week 15 assignment against the Denver Broncos on the road. He sustained the injury while trying to go after Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in the pocket.

If anything, Parsons appears to be in a much better mood now, as he embraces the challenge that comes with the injury.

Traded to Green Bay by the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for two future draft picks and veteran tackle Kenny Clark, Parsons immediately made his impact felt on the Packers’ defense. He closes his 2025 campaign with 12.5 sacks and two forced fumbles to go along with a total of 26 quarterback hits through 14 games. Despite being unable to finish the season, the former Penn State Nittany Lions star still earned his fifth career Pro Bowl nod.

For now, Parsons will just have to watch Green Bay try to get the job done, including in this Saturday’s matchup at Lambeau Field against the Baltimore Ravens.
