Micah Parsons Trolls Giants Over Saquon vs. Daniel Jones

FRISCO - You want old-fashioned, old-school humility-driven focus on the task at hand? Then you don't want Micah Parsons.

Parsons, the Dallas Cowboys superstar who for some reason feels obliged to use social media to comment on ... well, almost anything and everything ... is at it again.

He most recently got in hot water for remarks that accidentally insinuated that his own head coach, Mike McCarthy, is lacking in the "work ethic'' department. The coach was obliged to conduct a "man-to-man'' meeting with Parsons to clear the air.

But Micah is back now, watching the Philadelphia Eagles move to the top of the NFC East in large part thanks to their free agent signing of his Penn State buddy Saquon Barkley ... and Parsons just can't help himself.

The Eagles' Thursday night win over Washington rockets them to 8-2, putting them in charge of the NFC East. Meanwhile, the New York Giants are 2-8 without Barkley, who they chose to let go unsigned this offseason.

In fairness, New York faced a tough decision on whether to sign a 27-year-old running back to a three-year, $37.75 million contract ... regardless of the fact that the Giants had previously signed QB Daniel Jones to a regrettable $40 million per year deal.

But Micah's not interested in "fairness'' when he pokes and pokes and pokes at the Giants.

Wrote the trolling Parsons on Twitter on Thursday as Barkley started in the Eagles' 26-18 win over the Commanders by rushing for 146 yards (and catching two passes for 52 more) with two touchdowns on 26 carries. ...

"I blame the Giants ... All jokes aside the Giants almost made us believe Saquon wasn’t HIM anymore!! That really says a lot!! Daniel Jones was paid over Saquon! He was worth more to their franchise!! This really says a lot!!''

It's not that Micah's take on Barkley - who now has 1,137 rushing yards and eight touchdowns through the first 10 games of the season, making him an Offensive Player of the Year candidate - is wrong. What can be argued is that given the fact that New York is 2-8 and Micah's Cowboys are 3-7 ... maybe Parsons is sort of tone deaf when it comes to poking and poking and poking.
