Michael Irvin ‘Vehemently Denies’ Accusation in ‘Classified’ Investigation
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Michael Irvin has apparently  been accused of some sort of misconduct, with the Allen Police Department confirming that they have launched a criminal investigation into the Dallas Cowboys icon - with Irvin’s lawyer saying it’s “much ado about nothing."

A spokesperson for the Allen PD is saying the probe involving the Hall of Famer is “classified” and that “we aren't prepared to release any classification regarding Mr. Irvin."

Levi McCathern, Irvin's attorney, said in a statement to Pro Football Talk his client has done nothing "wrong or inappropriate” and that he “vehemently denies” the allegation.

Irvin, 58, one of the greatest Dallas Cowboys, recently settled a case in which he sued for $100 million after being accused by a hotel employee in Arizona during Super Bowl Week that he had acted inappropriately.

The colorful Irvin is a celebrated broadcaster who makes regular appearances on both Fox Sports 1 and NFL Network.
