Super Bowl champion Michael Strahan has built a remarkable career for himself after stepping away from the field nearly 19 years ago. His entrepreneurial spirit has helped him establish multiple successful brands, most notably his eponymous label, which became a top seller across more than 50 categories. And he isn't stopping anytime soon.
The Fox announcer has found another career opportunity. Following his passion for cars, he has partnered with Kindred Motorworks to restore and remodel classic vehicles. The duo recently announced their latest model, the Kindred EV 911.
"I’ve always had a thing for icons. The Kindred EV 911 takes one of the most iconic sports cars ever made and gives it a whole new future," Strahan wrote on Instagram. "Classic design. All-electric power. Beautifully reimagined. Proud to help introduce it to the world."
This venture holds a personal place in his heart. His love for cars ties to a beautiful memory with his dad.
"I remember as a kid, being the youngest of six kids, and my dad would love cars too, but we didn't have fancy cars," Strahan shared. "We used to go to car shows, we used to go to racetracks when we moved to Germany."
"I fell in love early on as a kid, I think it's something that connected me with my dad, my brothers and that love has been with me ever since I was seven years old."
Strahan joined Rob Howard, the founder of Kindred, as both an investor and a customer. The brand has previously worked on several vehicles, including the Ford Bronco and the Volkswagen Microbus.
Kindred has planned a limited production run of 12 units. Details regarding paint and color options will be available starting August 2026, with deliveries expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
"As a kid growing up, I fell in love early, and once you get that bug, you can't shake it," Strahan said. "So I just had to feed it. I love the craftsmanship, the artistry of it, and I appreciate everything that goes into making something. So many parts come together to create one thing. That is just fantastic."
Strahan retired after one of the most accomplished defensive careers in NFL history. Over 15 seasons, he recorded 648 solo tackles, 141.5 sacks, 22 forced fumbles and 15 fumble recoveries.
He was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year and earned six All-Pro selections. His single-season sack record of 22.5, set in 2001, stood for 18 years before being broken by Myles Garrett in 2025.
