Mike McDaniel likes to say 'adversity is opportunity' — and the Dolphins just found plenty of both as Tua Tagovailoa is added to injury report ahead of Week 8

Tua Tagovailoa has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season. Miami's starting quarterback has turned the ball over at an alarming rate. He's called out his teammates in a post-game press conference before walking those criticisms back. He's been listed on the injury report before with left thumb and hip issues.

The season from hell continues for Tua, although perhaps a "Flu Game" for Tagovailoa could be a spark! Who knows?!

Miami is going to need his absolute best today if the Dolphins are going to snap this losing streak. They're too often prone to self-inflicted wounds, critical mistakes, and now handcuffed with personnel. They can ill afford (pun intended) for Tagovailoa to be playing at less than 100%, given that they're already losing the margins of each football game at a notable rate. That, in turn, is contributing to their 1-6 start.

If it's not going to be a 1-7 start, Tagovailoa will need to play some of his best ball of the season. Let's see what "Flu Game Tua" has got up his sleeve.
