So much so that many pundits actually have confidence that this Steelers team can be legitimate Super Bowl contenders. However, to make that a reality, their defense must live up to the billing. 

TJ Watt and Cam Heyward are veteran superstars hungry to end the playoff drought. The Steelers have not won a playoff game since the 2016 season. That is why fans were so vocal about acquiring another wide receiver to pair opposite DK Metcalf. However, Khan did not want to overpay, and it was clear that this mindset was the reason the Steelers did not make any big offensive trades at the deadline.

Although it may sound crazy to say, the Steelers have a very real chance to win the Super Bowl in the 2025 season. It will not be easy, but they are 5-3 and currently in first place in the AFC North.
