Consider Mina Kimes a fan of the Cowboys' George Pickens trade.
After the Steelers sent the talented wideout to Dallas in exchange for next year's third-round pick and a pick swap in 2027, the ESPN analyst made sure to let fans know how she felt about the move.
Prior to this year's NFL Draft, Kimes expressed how big of a fan she was of Arizona's Tetairoa McMillian and that she wanted Dallas to take him with the 12th overall pick if he was still on the board.
"I think he is a perfect fit for what they need based on his skillset," Kimes said at the time. "Starting with the hands — this is his calling-card. ... Yards after the catch— so he's not a burner but he's surprisingly smooth with the ball in his hands. ... He's shifty, he's elusive for that size."
"Finally, body control," she continued. "So good at halting his momentum, staying on his feet... He's got great sideline awareness. ... If he's in Dallas, this guy's gonna see a lot of one-on-ones with CeeDee Lamb and he has the ability to take advantage of those one-on-ones."
Taking to X in the aftermath of Wednesday's trade, Kimes explained: "Everything I said here basically applies to Pickens. Big contested catch guy who pairs extremely well with both CeeDee and Dak."
At just 24-years-old Pickens is a highlight machine whose immaturity at times has sometimes gotten the best of him.
If he can lock in though, there's no reason to believe he can't become one of the top receivers in the NFC given his elite ball skills and size/speed combination.
Time will tell if that will be the case though, especially given Dallas' culture under Jerry Jones for the past 20-plus years.
