Rumors were buzzing for a couple of weeks about the potential of the Minnesota Vikings matchup against the Arizona Cardinals being flexed to Monday Night Football. With 13 days until the game will be played, the National Football League needed to make a decision and they have.

The Vikings game against the Cardinals will not be flexed to Monday Night Football. The game will remain the Denver Broncos against the Cleveland Browns.

The discussions about the Vikings vs. Cardinals game being flexed to Monday night made a lot of sense. Both teams are above 0.500 and are firmly in both the hunt to win their respective divisions and also the wind card race.

Instead, the game will stay at noon allowing the fanbases of both teams to enjoy the game without having to stay up late and wait the entire day to catch the game.
