While not everyone that ESPN's Molly McGrath has worked with continues to work for the network, she still has plenty of sympathy when her former coworkers are suffering.

Yesterday, former College GameDay analyst David Pollack revealed that his wife Lindsey was diagnosed with brain cancer and is set to undergo surgery on Wednesday.

"I do not share much of my personal life on social media but today is gonna be different. If you are the praying type please lift up my wife Lindsey. She has brain cancer and surgery is Wednesday at Duke. So thankful to serve a loving God that meets us in our struggles!" Pollack wrote on Monday.

Pollack has received over 20,000 responses to his post, with McGrath sending her thoughts and prayers to her former colleague as well.

"Sending prayers and strength to your beautiful wife and family," McGrath wrote.

McGrath was far from the only person at ESPN sending Pollack thoughts and prayers. ESPN personalities such as Pat McAfee, Ryan Clark, Dan Orlovsky and many others have weighted in as well.

"Definitely lifting her up brother!! Praying for steady hands, and a full recovery. Blessings DP," Clark wrote yesterday.

"We never crossed paths at ESPN, but thinking of your wife and your family. I, too, had brain cancer and surgery for it at Hopkins 5 years ago. If she needs anyone to talk to after it, I’m here. She’s got this," wrote Britt McHenry.

"Praying for her, you, your family and the health care team. I hope you are heartened by the thousands of responses here. And more so by the character of our great God," NFL Network's Scott Hanson wrote.

"We will be steadfast in prayer. So many people love you, Lindsey and your entire family. Psalm 130:2," his former GameDay partner Rece Davis said.

Pollack worked at ESPN from 2009 to 2023, with over a decade working on College GameDay. He was ultimately a part of a round of significant layoffs at ESPN back in 2023. Since then, he has continued to work in media in a variety of roles.

Our hearts go out to the Pollack family during this difficult time.
