The most accurate mock drafter in the past five years released their projections hours ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jason Boris of The Times-News is ranked first on The Huddle Report's accuracy metric over the past five years and was lights-out last April. Boris hit 29 players correctly projected in the first round and slotted 15 of them to the exact team that selected them.
He has the Bengals rolling with Texas A&M edge rusher Shemar Stewart at Pick 17.
"The Bengals can score—but stopping opponents has been a different story," Boris wrote. "The defense needs help at all levels, especially with Trey Hendrickson’s future uncertain. Stewart’s college production was modest, but his upside and elite athleticism (a perfect 10.0 Relative Athletic Score at the Combine) make him a high-ceiling prospect. He fits the mold of recent Bengals picks: long, athletic defenders with room to grow."
Stewart is ranked 18th on the consensus big board and fifth among edge rushers.
