The beef between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph probably will never end, but the Cleveland Browns star wants to fix things with the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback after the infamous helmet-swinging incident.
"If it were to happen, I’d be fine with it,'' the Cleveland Browns superstar told Cleveland.com. "Not just fine, but I wouldn’t mind it and I’d be happy to make it happen, if there were a way."
Garrett was suspended a total of six games in 2019 after he hit Rudolph in the head with the QB's own helmet on Nov. 15. The 24-year-old claims that the incident was sparked by Rudolph using a racial slur, which the QB denies.
After the incident occurred, Garrett said he contemplated leaving football entirely and instead start a career in basketball or baseball. Of course, that didn't happen ... Garrett just signed a massive five-year, $125 million deal to remain with Cleveland.
Garrett is unsure if Rudolph would accept an invitation to meet, but wants to discuss how the two can move forward and not let something like that happen again.
