Najee Harris may have a quality landing spot to resurrect his career after something of a lost season in 2025.

Harris visited the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire. It is the first visit he has taken in free agency.

The Seahawks need a replacement for Kenneth Walker, who left to join the Kansas City Chiefs after winning Super Bowl MVP honors. Seattle still has Zach Charbonnet on the roster, but he may miss a significant portion of the 2026 season after suffering a torn ACL during the playoffs.

Harris, meanwhile, is looking for a place to jump-start his career after a rough 2025. He joined the Los Angeles Chargers last offseason, but his training camp was derailed by a serious fireworks accident. He only got 15 carries all season and suffered a torn Achilles before he could even get going. He has a good chance of being ready for the start of the season, and his agent recently shared a video of him working out on a treadmill.

Harris posted four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers to start his career before falling flat last season. He is still just 28, and the Seahawks might be the ideal place for him to re-establish his value.
