New England Patriots Final 2025 7-Round Mock Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is just a few days away, so it's time for one final New England Patriots mock draft.

It's almost certain that Will Campbell will be the Patriots' pick at No. 4 overall, unless a trade happens. But what comes after that is where New England could truly add some additional gems.

So, here's a very realistic possibility for the Patriots to take in on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Round 1 • Pick 4: LSU OT Will Campbell

This one goes without saying right now. The Patriots biggest need on the roster is at left tackle, and Will Campbell is considered to be the best prospect at that position. However, there are some questions over his arm length and whether his position is truly at tackle or at guard.

As of now with all the recent reports, it seems that New England is high on Campbell and aren't worried about that, so the expectation is he will be in Foxborough in just a few short days.

Round 2 • Pick 38: Texas A & M DE Nic Scourton

Defensive end is another key need for the Patriots, so snagging Nic Scourton in the second round is a good move for New England. Scourton is a very good pass rusher and brings a level of versatility to the roster.

In his only season with Texas A&M, he recorded five sacks in 12 games, and was first-team All-SEC. He had two meetings with the Patriots, one at the Scouting Combine and then on a top 30 visit.

Round 3 • Pick 69: Iowa State WR Jaylin Noel

The Patriots also hosted Jaylin Noel on a top 30 visit, getting a closer look at a speedy receiver who ran a t 4.39 at the Scouting Combine. During the 2024 season at Iowa State, Noel finished with 80 receptions, 1,194 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns across 14 games.

Round 3 • Pick 77 (via Falcons): Tennessee RB Dylan Sampson

While the Patriots have Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson on the roster, bringing in a young running back will add more depth to the room. And if the Patriots don't take Ashton Jeanty in the first round with their No. 4 overall pick, then addressing it in the later rounds is what they will have to do.

Sampson is explosive and speedy, however, the one issue is he has had an issue with fumbling.

Round 4 • Pick 106: Kansas State CB Jacob Parrish

Depth is the key here. The Patriots have star cornerback Christian Gonzalez and have also brought in Carlton Davis III. While they have some other young cornerbacks on the roster, including Alex Austin who has showed promise, they could look to bring in Parrish, who finished the 2024 season with 50 total tackles, seven passes defended, and one interception.

Round 5 • Pick 144: Notre Dame TE Mitchell Evans

Nov 16, 2024; South Bend, Indiana, USA; Notre Dame Fighting Irish tight end Mitchell Evans (88) dives into the end zone for a touchdown in the second quarter against the Virginia Cavaliers at Notre Dame Stadium Matt Cashore-Imagn Images

The Patriots have Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper along with 2024 7th round pick Jaheim Bell, but New England could look to add a developmental tight end. Mitchell Evans finished his final collegiate season with 43 catches, 421 yards, and three touchdowns.

Round 5 • Pick 171 (Compensatory via Cowboys): California LB Teddye Buchanan

Teddye Buchanan is an elite athlete who proved he is good at stopping the run, but can also defend well in coverage.

Round 7 • Pick 220: Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke

Now that the Patriots have traded Joe Milton III to the Dallas Cowboys, they are in need of another quarterback on the roster. Kurtis Rourke finished with 222 completions on 320 attempts (69.4%) for 3,042 yards and 29 touchdowns with just five interceptions.

Round 7 • Pick 238 (via Chargers): Florida State K Ryan Fitzgerald

Special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer told reporters recently that the plan is to bring in another kicker to compete with John Parker Romo, so using their final pick on Ryan Fitzgerald makes a lot of sense. In 2024, he went 13-for-13 on field goals, making all five of his attempts from 50+ yards. He also went 14-14 on extra points.
