The New Orleans Saints came into this season with no expectations, which has helped them look surprisingly solid so far.
They poached head coach Kellen Moore from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason, and although the team is 0-4, they’ve been largely competitive and most of their games have come down to the wire.
The biggest concern for New Orleans heading into the season was their offense because of the lack of an experienced quarterback presence, but that hasn’t mattered much.
Starter Spencer Rattler hasn’t been elite, but he has shown drastic improvement from last year, with 765 yards and five touchdowns to just one interception through four games.
He doesn’t have many established options to throw the ball to on offense, but that’s about to change today. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Saints are activating Swiss Army knife Taysom Hill for today’s game against the New York Giants.

Hill joined the team in 2018 and has been one of the most versatile players in league history with his ability to play all over the field.
He has lined up as a tight end, wide receiver, running back and even been the Saints’ starting quarterback for a while in 2020.
The position-less wonder has amassed 2,437 rushing yards and 943 receiving yards in his career to go along with 55 all-purpose touchdowns.
He isn’t elite at any one spot, but when you combine his impact at all his positions, he instantly becomes indispensable.
The Saints have been starting Juwan Johnson at tight end, but he will likely have some competition with Hill back, who has been a staple of the offense for years.
There’s no guarantee that Hill will entirely transform New Orleans’ offense, but he will certainly make them harder to cover.
