New Orleans Saints' hidden gem shows that the entire NFL may have overlooked him during the 2024 NFL Draft

The young WR's explosiveness and fluidity have made an impression on the staff around the Saints. He's quickly gaining respect. 

Tipton's highlights don't stop there. He also made a great play against starting nickel back Alontae Taylor, too. Dennis Allen has noticed his route running and speed. That combo was on full display here.

Dennis Allen compares Tipton to former star player

The Saints coach said that Tipton reminded him of Chris Harris Jr. in Denver. Harris was overlooked, but his hard work and play-making earned him a role on the team. 

That's a notable point from Allen, considering the WR competition that's begun for the Saints.  

Here's another intriguing note for Tipton: He was not scheduled to talk to the media on Monday before practice. The Saints added him afterwards, seemingly pointing to how impressed the staff was by him. They wanted the young wideout to talk to the media and tell his story.

Tipton is making a case for himself, clearly. The young wideout has emerged as one of the stars of camp on offense and has taken advantage of every opportunity. 

Let's see if that results in a roster spot by the time the regular season rolls around. Plenty of folks are excited to see Tipton get some in-game action during the preseason.
