Over the weekend star wide receiver Tyreek Hill made headlines when he suggested he was "opening the door" to leave the Miami Dolphins.
"This is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs," Hill told reporters. "I just gotta do what's best for me and my family. If that's here or wherever the case may be, I'm finna open that door for myself. I'm opening the door. I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be just out there."
His comments came following a 32-20 loss to the New York Jets in which he allegedly "quit" on his team. Hill allegedly refused to enter the game with head coach Mike McDaniel saying the wide receiver "kind of" pulled himself out of the game on Sunday afternoon.
A new video appears to show the exact moment Hill decided he was done playing for the season. During a challenge by the Jets in the third quarter, cameras caught Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle asking Hill if he was "done" playing.
"Wow. The moment when Tyreek Hill quit in Sunday’s season finale at the Jets. The Fox broadcast captured a stunned Jaylen Waddle asking him if he’s done," Miami Dolphins beat reporter David Furones said.

While Hill opted not to play and very clearly hinted at a potential departure from the Dolphins with his postgame comments, general manager Chris Grier made it clear the star wide receiver has not asked for a trade.
“I will say in a frustrating season, he was very emotional in a game where we had a chance coming back from 2-6," Grier said on Tuesday. "Mike (McDaniel) and I both had conversations with Tyreek yesterday. Productive conversations. ... I would say he never asked for a trade with me."
Hill finished the season with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
