This Jaxson Dart thing had better work.
Forgetting for a moment that the Giants were a hard pass on the Shedeur Sanders reality show, they also blew off a slew of other quarterbacks to take the Ole Miss main man at the 25. If he's okay, and Sanders is special ...
The draft overall was fantastic.
The team has been great at drafting over the last few years and have nothing to show for it. But if they got the quarterback right - to go along with Abdul Carter, Cam Skattebow, Marcus Mbow, and value picks everywhere, eventually this will all work.

1 (3) Abdul Carter, EDGE Penn State
1 (25) Jaxson Dart, QB Ole Miss
3 (65) Darius Alexander, DT Toledo
4 (105) Cam Skattebo, RB Arizona State
5 (154) Marcus Mbow, OG Purdue
7 (219) Thomas Fidone, TE Nebraska
7 (246) Korie Black, CB Oklahoma State
What Went Right?
Everything.
If it's possible to get great value with the third overall pick, the Giants did just that with Carter.
I'm a Sanders guy, but no beef with Dart and what they did in the first round. Darius Alexander in the third round was a steal, Skattebo will be an instant folk hero, Mbow slid for some ridiculous reason - it was a great draft overall.
What Went Wrong?
If we're going to nitpick, finding some more receiver help didn't happen, and all the hopes are being placed in the Dart basket, but there's not much to argue with out of the five picks before the seventh round.
