The New York Giants offense has plenty of youth that could navigate them through the 2025 season. The expectations are not particularly high for Brian Daboll's team, but they also need to exceed those if they want to keep a similar coaching staff in the building for 2026.
One of the running backs involved on the depth chart discussed his opportunities for this season recently.
There is no lack of confidence for second-year RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. when it comes to what he wants to accomplish this season. After a surprisingly productive rookie season, he is looking to build on it in New York.
Tracy wants to eclipse 1,500 rushing yards in 2025. That's quite the mark

On Good Morning Football, the young Giants running back made it clear that he is not settling following his first pro campaign.
"I think that the best thing that I can do is dominate where I was last year and then, shoot, try to multiply that this year. Last year, I had 800 (rushing yards). This year, I need to go for (1,500 yards). … Wherever I was last year was last year. It don't matter. It's a new year."

If Tracy does reach this goal or even come close, it probably means rookie running back Cam Skatebbo was not involved too heavily in the offense. Instead, he was probably used mostly in goal line situations.
For the rookie, he sees himself and Tracy Jr. as a duo that can balance each other out quite well. His physical running nature is a nice addition to Tracy's elusiveness and agility with the ball in his hands.

For fans, that would frustrate plenty of them. The hype surrounding the former Heisman Trophy finalist has been one of the more intriguing parts of the offseason for the Giants, outside of their questions at quarterback.
