Following the Eagles' win over the 49ers in the NFC title game Sunday, Philadelphia fans celebrated in the city's streets. In New York, two hours north of Philly, the Empire State Building lit up in green in honor of Philadelphia's win — a decision that infuriated New Yorkers.

On its front page Monday, the New York Post slammed the decision with a clever headline.

A week ago, the Eagles knocked the New York Giants out of the playoffs.
Philadelphia-New York sports rivalries are among the most bitter anywhere. Eagles fans often greeted former QB Eli Manning and other Giants with the double bird.
Shortly after the Chiefs beat the Bengals in the AFC title game Sunday, Empire State Building management apparently tried to make amends.
