Newest Eagle takes perfect shot at former team compared to Eagles' culture

While some people, like C.J. Gardner-Johnson, might have a sour taste in their mouths regarding their time with the Philadelphia Eagles, there is one new addition who is making his thoughts clear on how the Eagles stack up against his old team.

While speaking to ESPN, new Eagles offensive lineman Kendall Lamm gave his compliments to the Eagles and the culture they have built in Philadelphia. For Lamm, it has been a much better experience compared to what it was like when he played with the Miami Dolphins.

"I understand why the Eagles reached two Super Bowls in three years: players are never late, never toxic, and after every practice, the room spends 15 minutes sharing personal struggles to stay mentally sharp - something I never got with the Dolphins."

Eagles' culture making the right first impression for Lamm

Lamm would know a strong culture after having played for four teams during his 10-year NFL career. He has spent the last three years in Miami, as he started 16 games during that span.

The Eagles have Lamm as the backup right tackle to Lane Johnson on the offensive line. Lamm is in good shape to make the roster in the second string role.

It's another example of the work Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has done with the roster and building the right culture in Philadelphia. Since taking the job in 2021, the Eagles have never had a losing season and have made the postseason in each of their four seasons. While it hasn't been perfect, the team has shown reliability as Sirianni refuses to let his team quit and fold.

Lamm has been on playoff teams, but none compare to what the Eagles have been doing over the last three years. He has a chance to learn from the best and grow as a player.

The 2025 Eagles are going to look different from the 2024 team, but the culture of winning will stay the same.
