NFC East exec's Micah Parsons reaction is pure Eagles fan comedy

The NFL world has exploded with reaction to the news that Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons has requested a trade.

After months of wanting a new contract and not receiving one, Parsons has had enough and taken to social media to announce that he has requested a trade from the Cowboys. There was one reaction that caught the attention of all Philadelphia Eagles fans, and they hope to know who said it.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz shared a text he got from an NFC East executive who had a short, but hilarious response to the news.

"lmao I love this."

Please let it be Howie Roseman who said it

This has been a story that has lingered throughout the entire offseason, one that Eagles fans have enjoyed watching. It's another classic example of how Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones mismanaged a situation so badly. Jones has been criticized for how he handled quarterback Dak Prescott's contract, with the delay now resulting in overpaying him.

Eagles fans can only sit back and enjoy the show as the Cowboys continue to entertain them. Dallas did a bang-up job making Eagles fans happy with two losses to them by a combined score of 75-13.

It does seem insane that a player of Parsons' caliber would even be allowed to get this far down the road. Dallas has screwed up a situation that could have easily been fixed with one phone call to his agent.

We are talking about a player who has made four consecutive Pro Bowls to start his career. A guy who has been a first-team All-Pro twice and was Defensive Rookie of the Year. Oh, and he has never had fewer than 12 sacks in a season since being a first-round pick in 2021.

Eagles fans just hope it was either general manager Howie Roseman or someone else within Philadelphia's organization who sent the text to Schultz, because we all feel the same.
