
The NFL has confirmed that the 2026-27 schedules will be released on Thursday, May 14. The International schedule release will be on the 13th.

The opening game for the 2026 season will be between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, on Thursday, Sept. 10. The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens will play in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, Sept. 27, for Week 3.
The main schedule release will be at 8 p.m. ET on May 14 on NFL Network, ESPN2, and NFL+. Broadcast partners will also select games throughout the week before the full release.
It will also be a new record for NFL international games this season. Some of the other international cities that will host a game are London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, and Mexico City. The NFL had a previous record of seven games in 2025.
