Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills and Drake Maye's New England Patriots battled at Gillette Stadium on Sunday in one of the best matchups of NFL Week 15. The Bills came out on top with a 35-31 win, tying the season series at 1-1 between the AFC East rivals.
Allen helped lead a remarkable 21-point comeback by completing 19-of-28 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns. He also racked up 48 rushing yards on 11 carries.
On the other side, Maye finished the game 14-of-23 passing for 155 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. He did his damage on the ground with four carries for 43 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
When the NFL announced its updated list of the top 10 players in Pro Bowl Games fan voting on Monday, Allen's standing had improved from No. 9 in the initial returns two weeks ago to No. 7 this time around.
However, the 2024 NFL MVP was still trailing Maye, who remained at No. 1 even after the Patriots lost on Sunday. Maye's popularity has only increased during the voting cycle, as his wife, Ann Michael Maye, gained a huge following on social media through her baking videos this month.

With voting closing Monday night, Maye was the only player to eclipse 100,000 fan votes. Allen was the QB with the second-most votes, leapfrogging Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was ahead of him in the initial voting returns.
In 2025, Allen's numbers have been outstanding. Through 14 games, he has thrown for 3,276 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also has 98 carries for 535 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

Last year, Allen was named the AFC Pro Bowl starter at quarterback ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow and the Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson. Maye wound up earning a Pro Bowl invite as an alternate in his rookie season. It was Allen's third selection.
The final roster for the Pro Bowl Games is determined by a combination of fan votes, player and coach input. This year, the Pro Bowl Games culminate in an AFC versus NFC flag football game on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
