The Green Bay Packers are 4-1-1 in Micah Parsons' first season with the team.
They have picked up wins over the Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals.
In Green Bay's 27-23 victory over Arizona, quarterback Jordan Love threw for 179 yards and a touchdown.
Running back Josh Jacobs added two touchdowns on the ground, rushing 13 times for 55 yards.
Parsons was the real standout, though. Parsons had five tackles, four tackles for loss and three sacks.
His performance didn't go unnoticed by the NFL. The league decided to name him the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.
"NFC Players of the Week (Week 7) @Gatorade," the NFL posted.
Parsons was listed alongside San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Carolina Panthers punter Sam Martin, who were also recognized.

Parsons was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Packers just before the season after he and Dallas could not agree on a contract extension.
Parsons held out and, ultimately, Jerry Jones chose to move him following a trade request.
The Packers star was the 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He's also a two-time First-Team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler.
